Profile
Frederic D. Rubin concentrates his practice in civil, criminal and family law litigation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR). He has handled numerous family law litigation and mediation
matters, first and third-party personal injury, property and casualty claims and first party bad faith claims. Mr. Rubin has been selected to serve as plaintiff's arbitrator, defense
arbitrator and as neutral arbitrator in a number of cases. He has broad litigation experience in state and federal court in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and has tried many cases to verdict.
He has briefed and argued various appellate matters before the Pennsylvania Superior Court, the U.S. 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
During his seventh year of private practice, Mr. Rubin enrolled in the Academy of Advocacy program, which was then taught at Villanova Law School, and became a Fellow in 1982. He has trained
extensively around the country in mediation and communication and has been involved in planning and teaching a number of accredited continuing legal education courses in mediation.
Mr. Rubin was Past President and Treasurer of the Family Mediation Association of the Delaware Valley, a member of the Pennsylvania Council of Mediators, and a practitioner member of the
national Academy of Family Mediators. He has served as a member of the Northampton Township, Bucks County Youth Aid Panel.
Mr. Rubin is a member of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and the National Association for Conflict Resolution.
