The 20-year-old man driving a Ford Mustang killed one teenager and severely injured another in a 2013 car accident, and he received 18 months to 10 years in a state prison for the charges.

1 killed in Pennsylvania crash after tire falls off truck

One man was killed on Nov. 21 in Shaler Township after a tire came loose from a trailer being hauled by a pickup truck, which crashed into the 75-year-old's windshield. The incident occurred nearby the Shaler Water Facility on Route 28. No one else was injured in the accident.

Pennsylvania truck driver facing homicide charges after crash

A 50-year-old Pennsylvania truck driver is facing various charges after allegedly falling asleep at the wheel and causing a crash that claimed the lives of two people and left nine others injured on Nov. 19. Police say that they viewed video footage captured by surveillance cameras at a nearby Dunkin' Donuts store to piece together what had happened. The truck accident took place on Route 222 in Maidencreek Township at approximately 6:30 a.m.

Man killed by wrong-way driver in Pennsylvania

A Pennsylvania man died in a Nov. 8 accident involving a wrong-way driver, according to authorities. Reportedly, the incident occurred on Route 66. Officials suspect that the wrong-way driver was trying to avoid hitting a deer at the time of the accident.

Pennsylvania cyclist killed in hit-and-run accident

A Narvon woman died after being hit in an alleged hit-and-run accident on a rural road in Lancaster County. The accident occurred on Oct. 31 around 9 a.m. in Caernarvon Township just a few miles south of Berks County.

Man accused of drunk driving in a Pennsylvania accident

A 42-year-old Hellertown man has been charged with vehicular homicide stemming from a May 28 multi-vehicle crash that left a man dead. According to police, the Hellertown man had a blood alcohol concentration of .22 percent shortly after the crash occurred.

Grandson injured, grandfather killed in Pennsylvania hit-and-run

According to authorities, charges have been filed against two individuals involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed a grandfather, who was 71-years old, and injured his grandson, who is 13 years old. The two victims were in a red sedan in Philadelphia's East Mt. Airy section when a green SUV struck the left side of their vehicle. The accident occurred at East Gorgas Lane and Ardleigh Street on Friday, Sep. 26 at around 8:30 p.m.
