A major accident in Franklin County, Pennsylvania, on August 15 resulted in one death and sent five other people to hospitals for medical treatment. Pennsylvania State Police said that the incident happened just before 8 a.m. on Route 30 at the intersection with Mountain View Avenue.
A 65-year-old Pennsylvania woman is dead after an early morning crash in Lehigh County on April 12. The driver, who allegedly caused the accident, said she may have dozed off, according to police at the scene. The Walnutport teenager is charged with vehicular homicide in the incident. She is also facing charges of reckless endangerment and involuntary manslaughter.
Earlier this month, a 25-year-old Philadelphia resident was killed when his car was hit by a suspected drunk driver. Though it is unclear whether the family members of this 25-year-old will file a wrongful death lawsuit following their loved one's death, these are the kinds of accidents that generally lead to wrongful death or personal injury claims.
Just outside of Philadelphia in Clifton Heights, a college freshman was killed earlier this month. The teenager had been walking with two friends on the sidewalk along West Baltimore Pike when a car jumped the curb and struck two of the teens. Sadly, one died after being taken to Mercy-Fitzgerald Hospital and the other was seriously injured and taken to the Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania. Fortunately, the third friend escaped from this fatal car accident unscathed.
